Next Gen Proteomics

Unleash the Power of Proteomics in Your Research

20TH - 21st November 2024

2pm - 6:30pm GMT / 9am - 1:30pm EST

A new era of proteomics is rapidly emerging. As we move into the post-genomics era, innovative, next generation technologies are unlocking the use of complex proteomics approaches for all scientists, across research, pharma and clinical sectors.

Yet, the pace of development is so rapid, the variety of new technologies so great, and the opportunity of proteomics is so profound, how do you keep up? Where should you invest? What technologies will make the biggest difference to your work? And how will you and your organisation capitalize on proteomics in the months and years to come?

That’s where this Next Gen Proteomics event will help you. Packed full of expert discussion, data-rich case studies, new technology showcases, and emerging proteomics approaches, this digital event will act as your one-stop-shop for unleashing the true potential of proteomics in your work.

our speakers

Access the latest intelligence in proteomics and work out what it means for your work

  • Next Gen Proteomics is completely free to attend. This means you can benefit from everything the event offers without impacting your budget. It also means your entire team can attend, as well as anyone in your network who you think would benefit.

  • This digital event is available to you live, including speaker Q&A, and also on-demand for two weeks following the live broadcast.

This means that by registering in advance, you can access and re-watch all sessions whenever you like, working around your busy schedule and gathering useful intelligence at a time that suits you.

  • We all understand, by now, why proteomics offers such a great opportunity in life sciences. This event will skip past the theory, offering attendees practical resources, tools, tips, ideas and intelligence that will make a difference to your work. Expect data-rich case studies, demonstrations and discussion that brings proteomics theory to life.

“Speaking at FoG Live was an amazing experience. It allowed me to reach scientists from different parts of the world, greatly enhancing the outreach of my research. I’m eager to participate in the next meeting and highly recommend these events to anyone looking to connect with various instrument experts.”

Carolina Oses Sepluvida, Researcher & Lab Manager, SciLifeLab

“my experience with the organization and this event was absolutely positive and I’d definitely recommend this series of events without any reservation.”

Si Wu, Senior Bioinfomatician, AbbVie

Koichi Hashikawa, Senior Computational Scientist, Johnson & Johnson

"I really enjoyed FOG live both as an audience and a speaker. Kudos to all the folks in FOG for their great platform and excellent organization. I would highly recommend this to my colleagues in the future."

What’s on the agenda

  • Next Gen Proteomics is for all researchers, pharma R&D professionals and clinicians who already understand the potential of proteomics in their work, but now need to understand more about the new tools and technologies that are rapidly emerging.

For instance, those working in pharma, disease-research, clinical applications, or those working in fields such as single cell/spatial analysis, multi-omics, genomics/proteogenomics and related areas.  It’s also for people who are already using more traditional proteomics approaches but are now looking towards adoption of new technologies.

  • Key topics being discussed include:

    • Proteomic profiling of new disease biomarkers.

    • Leveraging/targeting the proteome in new drug discovery and development.

    • Next generation proteogenomics.

    • Advances in protein sequencing and the move towards characterization of whole proteoforms.

    • Single call and spatial proteomics.

    • New AI models and innovations in protein characterisation.

    • Is proteomics following in the footsteps of genomics? Find out in the Day 1 Keynote Panel

    • Get the latest from the proteome in drug discovery in Session 2 of Day 1

    • Where are we at with single-cell proteomics? Learn about the ultrasensitive methods recently available.

    • Join the final sessions of Day 2 to discover the state of the art in AI proteomics
