Single Cell & Spatial

A Digital event to Transform your single cell and spatial research

25th - 26th September 2024

2pm - 6pm BST / 9am - 1pm EDT

Get access to the latest developments in single-cell sequencing and spatial omic technologies in a first-in-class Virtual Event

  • The first FoG Live hosts over 40 speakers from across the world, made up of leaders and innovators in single cell and spatial omics. Our community has expressed a desire to hear more about decision-making processes from field-leading scientists, plus those in pharma/biotech, and our speaker line boasts a strong selection of both.

With experts in AI, Wet lab, Technology, Bioinformatics, Pathology, and from Pharma/Industry, this is an event for those looking towards cutting-edge technology adoption and optimisation.

  • Talks are valuable and informative, but when they are listened to one after another in a single sitting, it can be difficult to take everything in and get real insights for your own work.

To combat this, FoG Live has a set of interactive sessions interwoven into the two day agenda, including 'LIVE' technology and tool demonstrations, roundtables, polls  and panels, in which interaction and discussion are put to forefront.

These sessions offer a unique opportunity compared to the standard webinar or live-streamed event, because you can learn new methods directly from the source or take the opportunity to make your questions and challenges the focal point of the main stage discussion.

  • We know that most people working with single cell tools are interested in spatial omics (and vice versa) yet many events in the space focus on just one. FoG Live gives equal attention to both single cell and spatial by running a concurrent track on each.

And for live sessions you miss – no problem – you can simply go back and watch the recorded sessions when you’re ready. By registering, you’ll get access to, and be given time to see, everything.

Join the Single Cell Track on days 1 and 2 to learn ways to optimise single cell workflows from sample prep to data analysis. Or, join the Spatial Track to discover what spatial could be doing for you, and how to facilitate the transition from single cell to spatial in your own lab.

Check out the full agenda here

  • FoG Live is completely FREE to attend. This means we’re offering the chance to listen to and interact with some of the finest single cell and spatial researchers from across the world, without impacting your valuable resources!

The digital format is also accessible and compatible with the busy life of a scientist. Why shouldn’t you be able to be part of the discussion around these revolutionary techniques, just because you have an experiment to run? This event allows you to work around your busy schedule, and access useful intelligence at a time that suits you.

Sessions will be available on-demand for two weeks after the event, meaning you will get access to 16 hours of content to watch and refer to.

FAQs

  • FoG LIVE was created to connect scientists working on single-cell and spatial projects with the support they need, without having to pay for conference fees and travel expenses! The live formats allow you to make your questions and challenges the centre of the discussion. In this way you can truly transform your single cell and spatial research.

  • FoG Live is free for anyone to attend. We have end user and vendor tickets, and following registration, before the event, you will receive an access link to the event portal and full on-demand access for two weeks after the event.

  • After you register, before the event you will recieve an email with your link to access the event platform. There will be reminders sent on the build-up to the event instructing you how to access the platform.

  • Not at all! We strongly encourage you to try sessions from each of the tracks. If two sessions are on at the same time, you can always catch the other one on-demand. You could even flip between the tracks during sessions if you desired.

  • Yes absolutely. The sessions run for 4 hours on both days and you have complete flexibility to enter and leave the virtual stages as often as you like.

  • Yes, recordings of all sessions will be made available to those that register following the event. Recordings will be found on the event platform following the event and attendees will be notified when recordings are available and they will be available for two weeks from that date.
